Compositor

- Common direction and tone for the company

Compositor Oy took the biggest development step in its over two-decade history in the first half of 2011. Prior to that, we had operated broadly in the corporate communications field e.g. as a strong publishing house, but our hearts and our expertise were becoming increasingly focused on the internal communications of organizations. Leadership communications had become a topic of particular interest for us, so we decided to give it our undivided attention starting at the beginning of 2011.

Communications is an integral part of leadership and personnel development. Where these three areas intersect is where our expertise is strongest. We work in partnership with top management as well as with communications and HR professionals in strategy and change communications, in daily collaboration, in leadership challenges, and in tackling problem situations.

We have seen the importance of leadership communications gain ground as the pace of change and goals have accelerated in the business world. A company can’t succeed if the personnel doesn’t know where the company is headed, and why and how it will get there. Employees need to see the importance of their own role in the big picture and to feel that they and their know-how are valued. Employee motivation and well-being are reflected in the workplace atmosphere and in the bottom line.

We help organizations to understand the tremendous power of transparent and functional leadership communications; we work with them to plan how daily communication is carried out through texts and storytelling – in a way that supports the strategy and is consistently implemented in the daily work with a practical, people-oriented approach.
